About Me

Fashion and design has always been an important part of my life. Growing up in a small village in Bosnia, there were limited clothing options let alone anything with some style! At a young age I began sewing and creating my own clothing to wear and I've never stopped. In the early 1990's, when my children were born, I realized that children's clothing was very basic at the time so I created many outfits for them and was featured in a local Atlanta newspaper for my designs. A few years later, in 2000 I was able to open my first boutique in Charleston, SC. Almost a decade later, in 2009, I competed in the world renowned TV show Project Runway: Season 6 and would go on to appear again in Project Runway All Stars. After Project Runway I decided to move to Los Angeles in order to give my fashion a better opportunity.

Along my journey I have created countless unique designs, participated in fashion shows all over the world, dressed several celebrities, and have been featured in numerous publications. I consider myself lucky to know that my true passion in life is woven with fashion as I could not see myself doing anything else. I am constantly inspired by the world around me and do my best to express my artistic visions into every one of my designs.
